2025: A Focus on Wishes

1. An End to Video Game Industry Consolidation and Mass Layoffs

May the video game industry cycle into a hiring phase and slow the rate of acquisitions and layoffs.

2. News about the Next EverQuest Title

We eagerly anticipate information about the next installment in the EverQuest franchise, hoping it avoids the "EverQuest Next" naming convention.

3. Happy Annual Expansions at Daybreak

We wish for Daybreak to continue their annual expansion cycle for EverQuest, EverQuest II, Lord of the Rings Online, and potentially Palia.

4. LOTRO to Improve Large Monitor Access

We hope that Standing Stone Games will make efforts to enhance the game's accessibility on large screens, addressing issues with scaling and text visibility.

5. Commit to or Let Go Of H1Z1

We urge EG7/Daybreak to either invest in the development of H1Z1 or phase it out, ending the current state of limbo.

6. Blizzard to Not Mess Up WoW Housing

We celebrate the ongoing success of No Man's Sky, applauding the consistent efforts of Hello Games to improve and enhance the gaming experience.

12. Dune Awakening to Have Learned from Conan Exiles

We hope that Funcom, having gained experience from Conan Exiles, will create a memorable and engaging experience with Dune: Awakening.

We encourage Playable Worlds to continue expanding Stars Reach, introducing significant features such as space ships and space travel to enhance the open-world sandbox experience.

23. Pokemon Go to Level 60

We expect Niantic to raise the level cap in Pokemon Go, providing incentives to continue playing for both casual and hardcore fans.

24. That Pokemon Black & White Remake
